Trey Stone International Limited Warranty
Every Trey Stone watch is backed by our International Limited Warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, subject to the terms and exclusions below.
This warranty applies to watches originally sold by Trey Stone.
Warranty coverage begins on the date your watch is shipped to its original purchaser, as shown on the shipping confirmation email and company records.
Warranty is transferable during the applicable coverage periods.If the watch changes ownership, the remaining coverage transfers to the new owner for the remainder of the applicable period(s).
Coverage Periods
Timepiece: Two years
- Includes case, crystal(s), crown, dial, hands, movement, and internal components.
Leather Straps and Metal Bracelets: One year
- Includes leather, links, buckles and/or clasps.
Transfer of the watch to another owner does not extend or restart the coverage periods.
What's Covered
During the applicable warranty period(s), Trey Stone will, at our discretion and without charge for covered parts and labor:
- Repair any manufacturing defect;
- Replace defective components with equivalent or improved parts; or
- Replace the watch if Trey Stone determines that repair is not possible.
Coverage applies to functional issues experienced, under normal use conditions, caused by defects in materials, manufacturing , or assembly - not problems caused by external influence, improper use, normal wear, or insufficient maintenance.
Examples of potentially covered conditions include:
- Movement malfunction caused by a manufacturing defect;
- A crown or winding-system problem caused by an assembly defect;
- Misaligned or improperly installed hands;
- Water intrusion caused by a covered manufacturing or assembly defect; or
- A defect in a bracelet link, buckle, clasp, or leather strap arising during the applicable coverage period.

What's Not Covered
Normal Wear and Cosmetic Aging
This warranty does not cover:
- Scratches, dents, wear marks, fading, discoloration, or patina;
- Changes in the appearance of polished, brushed, coated, painted, or finished surfaces;
- Strap and bracelet wear resulting from regular use, including stretching, creasing, fraying, staining, and discoloration;
- Crystal scratches, chips, or breakage caused by impact; or
- Routine maintenance resulting from normal use or aging.
Accidents, Misuse or External Causes
This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Impact, shock, dropping, crushing, or collision;
- Negligence, improper use, or failure to follow the operating and care instructions;
- Chemicals, solvents, cosmetics, salt, extreme temperatures, or external magnetic fields;
- Use beyond the watch’s stated specifications; or
- Fire, flood, theft, loss, or other events unrelated to a manufacturing defect.
Water Related Damage
Water intrusion caused by a covered manufacturing or assembly defect remains eligible for warranty consideration.
This warranty does not cover water-related damage caused by:
- Failure to fully secure the crown before water exposure;
- Operating the crown while the watch is wet or submerged;
- Impact or damage affecting the case, crystal, crown, or seals;
- Use beyond the watch’s stated water-resistance rating;
- Exposure to hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, or pressurized water jets;
- Deteriorated seals resulting from age or insufficient maintenance; or
- Improper opening, resealing, or pressure testing of the watch.
Service, Repairs and Modification
The watch being inspected or serviced by an independent repair provider does not by itself automatically void the warranty.
However, this warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by:
- Improper repair, servicing, opening, or reassembly;
- Installation or use of incompatible components;
- Unauthorized alteration or modification of the watch; or
- Failure to properly reseal and pressure-test the watch after the case has been opened.
Trey Stone may require inspection and pressure testing before accepting a water-resistance claim involving a watch that was previously opened or serviced.
A claim may also be denied if the serial number has been intentionally removed, altered, or made illegible and Trey Stone cannot otherwise verify the watch’s identity or warranty eligibility.
Warranty Repairs and Replacement Components
Warranty service may include inspection, diagnosis, adjustment, regulation, repair, component replacement, or watch replacement as necessary to restore proper function.
When production changes have occurred, replacement components will be the closest available functional and aesthetic equivalent. Minor differences in appearance may occur when an original component is no longer available.
A replacement watch or component does not restart the original warranty period.
Work performed under this warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original applicable warranty period or for 90 days from the date the serviced watch is returned to the owner, whichever is longer.
