The Dart Frog Blue model draws inspiration from the blue poison dart frog, Dendrobates tinctorius azureus, native to isolated rainforest habitats in southern Suriname. Kaieteur Falls in neighboring Guyana, one of the Guiana Shield’s most renowned geological landmarks, evokes the humid, mist-filled rainforest environment of the wider region. The frog’s vivid blue coloring and irregular dark markings are reflected in the dial’s light blue surface, deep blue accents, and black details, resulting in a design with vibrancy, contrast, and distinction, for a strong connection to its natural inspiration.
