The Monarch Black model draws inspiration from the monarch butterfly, Danaus plexippus, whose vivid orange wings are defined by deep black veining and delicate white markings. Each year, monarchs spread northward from central Mexico across much of the United States over three or four successive generations. As summer ends, a final, long-lived generation makes the entire journey south to Mexico to overwinter; completing a remarkable cycle of movement, endurance, and generational renewal. This natural palette and extraordinary migration are reflected in a rich black dial accented by a warm orange tone, giving the watch contrast, movement, and distinction, with a quiet connection to its inspiration.
